Managing Director and Founder
Neill Butcher Managing Director and founder of headcount possesses over 10 years previous Card Payments recruitment experience. With a specific concentration in providing Management and Executive staffing solutions, Neill and his team are responsible for establishing the company as a leading provider of recruitment services dedicated purely to the Card Payments Industry Worldwide. “Our business model is positioned around a transaction from beginning to end and we have the resources dedicated to servicing every part of the transaction process. Personally I am very excited and confident about the future of Headcount. Viv owen
Account Director
Viv Owen joins the Headcount team bringing 8 years of permanent and associate consultancy recruitment experience with him. Most of this was gained as a Business Development Manager covering Sales and Technology positions for the Smart Card industry. He also spearheaded an associate consultancy capability to those organisations introducing EMV chip card based payment in to the UK and Europe. He joins Headcount as an Account Director where he will continue to deliver on card payment technologies and drive forward the business through the excellent relationships and client base developed to date. “This is a truly magnificent challenge and one I relish of cementing the Headcount brand as the leading UK card payments recruiter”.
Born in Anglesey, North Wales, Viv Owen is your typical red blooded Celt citing most sports as a hobby and Welsh Rugby as a passion. A true gent and optimist, his ultimate dream would be to see the Welsh rugby team back on top one day, where they belong. As you can see, he also has a incredible “sense of humour”
Joe MCEwan
Business Consultant & Company Mentor
Joe McEwan set up business in 2004 to support and advice Business Owners and Managers with the various diverse challenges they face.
He focuses on Business Strategy and Planning, Coaching and Mentoring, Business Growth, Organisational Structures, Driving Performance, Risk Management and Controls, Financial Management and Sources of Finance.
Joe’s experience of business is extensive, and his skills well proven, with over thirty years experience in various UK and Overseas Roles in Barclays Bank. Latterly, he brought together all the Business Credit Teams, and he was responsible for the Credit Portfolio of all Business Customers. He has dealt with all industry sectors.
As well as being actively involved in the Business Community, he also supports the Handicapped Childrens Pilgrimage Trust as a carer and major fundraiser.
On the recreational side, he loves distance running. He is Chairman of Witham Running Club and has run 19 Marathons, including New York, Rome and London in the last few months. Joe can also regularly be seen at gigs, where he spots the new up and coming Indy bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, Nine Black Alps, and Arctic Monkeys.
Emma Gresko
Account Manager/Consultant
Emma joined Headcount in January 2008 as Consultant/Account Manager. Emma’s career began in Private Banking with RBS/Coutts where she spent 3 years working within Portfolio Management. Her recruitment career began on-site with Fujitsu, specialising in the contracts market, following which she moved on to Citigroup where she sat within their HR and resourcing function. Since then Emma has gained external recruitment experience within the IT industry, mainly focusing on IT Security and Risk Management.
Emma originally comes from the Midlands, however she has since been fortunate enough to have spent a number of years living abroad and has well and truly got the travel bug. Aside from visiting new places and experiencing different cultures, Emma enjoys activities such as quad biking and canoeing. She loves wine and house music and can often be found stalking DJs around the clubs of Farringdon and Kings Cross.
Sasha Marley
Senior Consultant
After graduating Sasha acquired extensive experience selling financial recruitment solutions to International corporations. In 2004 Sasha was headhunted by the James Caan entrepreneur of 2003 and joined his recruitment company as Business Development Manager. In 2005 Sasha joined a large recruitment corporation where she built a niche reputation for delivering Prepaid, Payment software and hardware vendor recruitment solutions. Sasha joined Headcount in 2008 as Senior Recruitment Consultant, “the lure of joining a leading company within a sector I understand completely was a necessity, and I am looking forward to assisting and driving the Vendor business division forward throughout Europe”.
In her spare time, when Sasha is not renovating her house in France she is practicing Clinical Hypnotherapy, candidates should look into the eyes not around the eyes!
