Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen for a Risk Manager, ATM Manager. In this role you will deliver a fit for purpose risk management framework and provide advice to the business in relation to risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.
Role Deliverables:
Risk Identification
• In conjunction with the business work to ensure the accurate and complete identification of business operational risks.
• In conjunction with the business get involved in new material change initiatives, advising on new procedures and ensuring appropriate identification and assessment of new risks.
Risk Analysis
• In line with Divisional and Group policies ensure that all identified risks are adequately and accurately assessed.
Risk Mitigation
• Advise on effective risk mitigation strategies, obtaining business buy-in and support.
• Work with the business to develop risk mitigation strategies that properly reflect the balance between risk and reward.
Risk Monitoring
• As appropriate create, maintain and contribute to an annual plan for reviewing compliance with risk management frameworks in the business ensuring key control effectiveness including ACE and quarterly certification.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all business areas and Divisional risk teams.
• Ensure the requirements of all internal and external regulatory codes are understood and actioned in the business assessments of existing and potential risk matters and provision guidance to the business on approaches to managing them.
Risk Reporting
• As appropriate deliver reporting which is complete, accurate and timely.
• Management of key risk issues and events, tracking to their final conclusion.
The Individual
We are looking for an individual from a Risk background who has strong experience of managing risks and working in an ATM distribution business. You will have the ability to interpret complex information and turn it into a format that is easily understood within the business and be able to work accurately whilst meeting tight deadlines. You will be able to produce reports required on a complete, accurate and timely basis and have the ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience. Good communication and persuasive skills will be key in order to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
