Job Description

Regional Sales Manager – Open Market Team
Minimum – 12 months Card Processing experience
Home Based – extensive travel
The Regional Sales Manager will have experience working in a cold calling environment and can lead by example in terms of generating appointments/closing the sale.

Key Responsibilities:
Agree objectives and performance strategy with the Head of Sales
Motivate, lead and develop a team of BDM’s
Ensure pre-agreed sales targets are hit both at individual and seller level
Accurately price new customers in line with agreed pricing policy
Ability to lead by example and demonstrate effective cold calling methods
Be principle point of escalation for BDM issues
Ensure Team Performance is maximized by timely recognition of individual performance
Coach, train and evaluate performance and address under performance issues where necessary
Professionally represent the brand both internally and externally
Complete all paperwork/ business reporting in a timely manner
Ensure Business SLA’s are met
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate:-
At least 12 months Card Processing experience
A good knowledge of the Card Acquiring Market including strong product awareness
A good understanding of the SME Market and how to target new business
Results led background with proven success
Strong negotiation and successful closing skills
A motivational leader with evidence of coaching/training and developing people
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to work with little supervision
Financially literate
Planning and analytical skills
PC Literate
