Hack 2: Offer Flexibility
87% of us would like to work more flexibly. We’d like to fit work around life, rather than the other way round. Flexible working is, in many ways, a no-brainer; it’s a simple policy that can improve diversity, loyalty and the quality of employees’ work. And yet, many employers worry that it will “open the floodgates” to laziness or chaos. You can be the braver employer! You may well reap the benefits in the form of a highly skilled, diverse and motivated workforce.

Successful recruitment processes are invariably super speedy. It’s no secret that candidate demand for remote positions is skyrocketing. If you’re struggling to fill a role, maybe ‘remote’ is a wave you need to ride. For those still sceptical, consider that remote workers are 20-25% more productive than office-based colleagues (and in fact, a full 91% feel themselves to be more productive overall.) Remote hiring can, in an instant, vastly increase the pool of available talent, and make it possible to be significantly more selective about who to interview and hire.
