Business Development Manager – Acquirer Processing – 

Our client is growing a payments technology platform with the mission to make payments processing simple, accessible and secure. Currently seeking an ‘Acquiring Processing Business Development Manager’ to join team in London. The successful applicant will be instrumental in  growing the presence in the UK , Europe and globally.



  • Develop a sales Pipeline of Acquirers, Card Schemes and other major players to expand the companies Acquirer Processing services.
  • Demonstrate a consultative sales approach to successfully own and manage the full sales cycle, by identifying, generating, and managing new business opportunities through to completion.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and terms with potential partners and senior executives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team and Head of Sales to recognise market trends, strategic opportunities and partnership
  • Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to deliver product based strategies to capture new partnership opportunities.
  • Continuously work closely with the Product team to understand the tech stack created, to provide valuable feedback on future and existing opportunities.
  • Drive client driven marketing materials and initiatives with the Marketing team.
  • Attend industry events both virtually and in person.


  • 5 years’ business development experience in acquiring, either at a payments processor or card scheme.
  • Self-starter and driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, to work effectively and autonomously.
  • Proven record of winning new business, building, generating and driving a sales pipeline.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills and a team player.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest and passion in both technology and Fintech.
  • Natural ability to build relationships with decision makers and buyers, both with existing and new clients.
