Business Development Manager – Ecommerce -  London Based - Hybrid -

Our clients’ technology addresses persistent challenges of the payment world. By designing and operating leading digital payment and transactional solutions that enable sustainable economic growth and reinforce trust and security in our societies.

The successful candidate will report direct to the Head of sales, the main responsibilities will be to treat incoming sales requests by phone and email and manage the portfolio. Besides that there will be some up selling which will require active following up of direct mailings. You will work closely with clients to find the most appropriate solutions according to their needs.

What you will do

Internal training of products will be provided so that you can become an expert at offering various technology solutions to clients

  • You will sell technology solutions to new e-commerce merchants on the UK market by making outbound merchant calls and handling objections.
  • Responsible for building your own pipeline of new merchants
  • Identify trends & advise the marketing team to set up programs to drive business development initiatives.
  • Successfully grow, upsell and manage an existing portfolio of clients.
  • Self-generate and follow up on leads to convert them as opportunities and win business.  
  • Take ownership of customer support and dealing with escalation of your own accounts working alongside the customer care for any critical impact.
  • Continuously keep the CRM sales data updated
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and market conditions, Products and pricing and engaged with company updates.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need to be a talented negotiator with excellent communication skills
