Rapidly expanding FinTech, focusing on issuing and BIN Sponsorship, seeks a Compliance Manager to play a key role in providing assurance to the Board that the company's compliance framework is operating effectively through Internal and External reviews and report issuing.
My client is a UK based company, headquartered in London and has a flexible working policy. Due to the nature of the role, the Compliance Manager will need to travel to London occasionally and may be required to travel internationally, so an up to date passport is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing a small team of Compliance Assurance Analysts

Undertaking internal control reviews, ensuring policy and procedures have been adhered to and appropriately documented

Assisting with the development of external testing and Programme Manager audits Ownership of team output –reports, monitoring plan, policies and procedures for submission to the Board

Providing compliance-related guidance and advice across the business on legal and regulatory matters, product design and controls.

Creating and maintaining documentation and templates to aid the Compliance Team

Horizon scanning – reviewing regulatory and scheme updates and changes with the view to performing gap and impact analysis
Skill and Experience:

Excellent oral and written skills, enabling communication with all stakeholders, from new members of staff, clients, the Board etc.

Practitioner level experience in banking or the payments industry compliance

Experience using range of RegTech tools
