Corporate Secretary Location: Remote About the opportunity A growing e-money neo-banking institution is seeking a Corporate Secretary in direct support of the Board – to manage the ongoing administration and governance across their offices in the UK and EU, including the Group HQ in Ireland. The business was established with a goal to deliver banking services to the customer base of retail institutions on a white-label basis – money transfer, card purchases, currency conversion, rewards programs are some of the focus areas. Key responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to: • Managing the administration for the Board and various Committees, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, collating agendas and liaising with members, detailing clear action points and distributing to the relevant stakeholders. • Supporting the Group Director, CCO and CFO to develop, implement and communicate governance, AML and compliance policies, processes and procedures, including document management (internal documents, T&Cs, contract repository, important renewals etc), help with annual accounts, filings with the Companies House, FCA and HMRC. • Taking responsibility for basic bookkeeping in the London office, ensuring vendors are paid, expenses and bank account balances reconciled. • Executive business/administrative assistant duties for key Board members. What you bring to the table: • An experience in or knowledge of company law and/or governance. • Qualified or studying for a qualification with The Chartered Governance Institute UK&I is preferable. • Efficient and experienced in the role and responsibilities of multiple meeting coordination, minute taking, paper organisation and personnel support • Organised, flexible and pro-active; able to multi-task and demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail. • Articulate and able to liaise and influence at all levels – within the team, with the Board and external contacts ranging from service providers to clients and Group Executives. • Calm under pressure, approachable and pragmatic, able to motivate and be a central point of stability and support for the team. • Familiarity with the Fintech relations is desirable. • Computer proficient, including relevant software.
