Our client a international payments solutions provider based is looking for a smart, creative and analytical Director of Product Marketing for their leadership team, focused on driving the positioning, messaging and go-to-market of their products serving small and mid-sized enterprises across their global business.
Working together with team members in marketing, product, sales and customer success, you will be responsible for seeing the big picture, from developing the initial value proposition to ongoing storytelling, campaign execution and sales enablement. This role will be responsible for go-to-market plans that drive the launch of new products, as well as ongoing efforts to promote their existing offering in creative, new ways. They are looking for someone that is as equally comfortable with high-level strategy as they are with hands-on creation of assets.
You will be responsible for:
Developing the positioning and messaging for new and existing products, while exploring new ways to package different services to target specific verticals
Working closely with sales and product on defining target segments and analyzing product-market fit
Leading cross-functional, global go-to-market efforts that drive product adoption and growth
Creating value-driven sales enablement tools in the form of presentations, content, blogs, datasheets, brochures, case studies, demos, videos, and training materials
Promoting the value of their platform for different customer verticals by leveraging product marketing insight, initiatives, and resources to create differentiated content and messaging
Collaborating with colleagues across the global marketing team to execute campaigns across multiple channels, including acquisition, social, partners, SEO, CRM and more
Analyzing target segments to understand customer/market challenges and build customer personas
Using storytelling through a product marketing lens to support cross and upsell throughout the customer journey
Working with wider product and marketing teams on product naming conventions to maximize brand value
Is this you?
Multiple years of professional product marketing experience
Strong experience in messaging/positioning of product value and differentiation, creative development and campaign execution for SMEs and enterprises
Knowledge of the world of payments or financial services – a plus
Extensive experience in content writing, simplifying complex matters into easily understood value-driven messaging
A great presenter and speaker internally and at external events
Proven track record of understanding technical concepts and creating industry and/or solutions-specific messaging and content
Project management skills, can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic & global environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from peers
High enthusiasm and motivation to work within a fast-paced, international environment
Comfortable with both high-level strategy and hands-on work
Experience working with a global team and market
