The General Manager will have extensive experience in the transaction processing, and online payments industry.

You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and 
direction to the board of a newly incorporated Irish payment institution, to ensure that the Irish entity, and the wider group, achieves its financial vision, mission and long-term goals.

My client is a Payment Institution and is in a period of growth and transformation that will see it establish itself as a leading, dynamic FinTech company.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Irish Company.
  • Developing and executing Irish business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
  • Developing and implementing business plans for the Ireland entity to maintain a competitive edge, secure new business and improve cost-efficiency
  • Maintaining and building positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities
  • Overseeing and responsible for the Irish company's business operations, financial performance
  • and ventures
  • Continuous monitoring of the annual budget and ensure that revenue/sales targets and costs targets are met
  • Preparation of annual reports and attending/presenting at board meetings

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager within a regulated payment services entity
  • Strong background in the Financial Services industry
  • Exposure to multi-country operational challenges
  • Fully conversant with regulatory compliance, in particular with regards to payment
  • institutions
  • Degree in Finance/Business or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
