The General Manager will have extensive experience in the transaction processing, and online payments industry.
You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction to the board of a newly incorporated Irish payment institution, to ensure that the Irish entity, and the wider group, achieves its financial vision, mission and long-term goals.
My client is a Payment Institution and is in a period of growth and transformation that will see it establish itself as a leading, dynamic FinTech company.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Irish Company.
- Developing and executing Irish business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
- Developing and implementing business plans for the Ireland entity to maintain a competitive edge, secure new business and improve cost-efficiency
- Maintaining and building positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities
- Overseeing and responsible for the Irish company's business operations, financial performance
- and ventures
- Continuous monitoring of the annual budget and ensure that revenue/sales targets and costs targets are met
- Preparation of annual reports and attending/presenting at board meetings
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as a General Manager within a regulated payment services entity
- Strong background in the Financial Services industry
- Exposure to multi-country operational challenges
- Fully conversant with regulatory compliance, in particular with regards to payment
- institutions
- Degree in Finance/Business or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
