Our client provides crypto and web3 companies with a range of banking and payments solutions enabling them to instantly create bank accounts, send payments and seamlessly convert funds between fiat and crypto. 

We are looking for someone with 5 years or more of engineering experience within the fintech industry, particularly in digital banking and payments, and if you have knowledge of blockchain technology too, this would be a huge plus.



  • Produce high quality and well thought out code as required

  • Maintaining said code quality via regular code reviews and mentorship.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, secure code practices, and infrastructure scripts (Terraform) forms part of your remit.

  • Mentor junior and less experienced developers by teaching them new skills, hone their technical abilities and improve their efficiency.

  • Responsibility will be to lead the development team in terms of practical technical execution. * You will be leading the SecOps, DevOps and QA team leads as the business grows.


  • Min 5+ years of active architecture, software design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex and fast-moving industry.

  • A hands-on coder, comfortable coding on a daily basis

  • Software engineering development and design experience with complex and highly scalable products, using multiple technologies and languages.

  • Experience working with and integrating scalable web applications and APIs.

  • Strong AWS experience (certification a strong plus).

  • Experience with microservice architecture.

  • Experience with scaling platforms in a high transaction volume environment.

  • Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience.

  • Experience with two or more languages - Python, JavaScript (React), GoLang, Node.js

  • Strong experience as an Architect.

  • Familiar with Terraform.

  • Fintech experience, especially in Digital Banking and Payments is a plus.

  • Experience with a Security First approach to software development.

  • Proven experience attracting, hiring, retaining, and leading top engineering talent and high-performance product engineering teams.

  • Strong mentoring skills.

  • Efficient problem solver, with the ability to see the bigger picture.

  • Ability to take ownership of problems.
