About our clients Goal and Vision

Our client is a fast growing organization within the payment processing space on high risk verticals across LATAM, EMEA and APAC.
Our client is looking for a Head of Sales with strong commercial background in payments, managing teams and with exposure within gamming and ecommerce, or FX and crypto.
The ideal candidate is determined and commercially astute, with broad experience managing sales teams within the e-commerce, gambling, forex, crypto and verticals with strong leadership. We are looking for a caring individual, with a disruptive attitude who is willing to closely collaborate with all internal stakeholders. The position reports to the CCO. This role is 100% remote.

What we are looking for
  • At least 4-5 years of leadership experience, managing a team remotely
  • At least 8-10 years of Sales experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise sales
  • Fluent in English with strong presentation and communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at any level – additional languages are a plus
  • Strong expertise of the online payments industry and at least two of the following industries (the more the merrier): forex, crypto, e-commerce, gaming, gambling
  • Available to travel to conferences, industry/team events and to visit merchants
  • Highly analytical approach: ability to identify and prioritise initiatives with the highest impact
  • Team-player capable of effectively coordinating complex, cross- functional projects with key stakeholders in an international and multicultural environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Able to view problems from the other’s perspective, and the drive to resolve them
  • Resolute and ambitious individual who is willing to lead by example and do what it takes to achieve team goals
  • Willingness to work under pressure in a dynamic environment subject to frequent and rapid changes

As part of your role, your day-to-day activities will include:
  • Empower and coach a team of 8 FTEs by supporting them with the tools and resources necessary to perform at the highest standards.
  • Reach out to your e-merchant network and present the client´s concepts and payments solutions.
  • Define the team strategy to deliver the mission and targets of the organisation.
  • Increase and demonstrate a solid, in-depth knowledge of the payment solutions, markets and services offered by our client and its competitors.
  • Actively contribute in the tactical planning, forecasting, commercial resource planning, merchant hospitality, travel planning and budgeting activities.
  • Regularly present feedback to team members, peers, and line manager
  • Hold regular alignment meetings with your team members and the key stakeholders in the organisation including but not limited to Operations, Compliance and Product
  • Work in conjunction with the CCO to ensure a smooth and seamless onboarding and handover process both ways
  • Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders bridging the gap between them. Represent our client at tradeshows and other events
  • Keeping your team focussed on expanding in new markets and verticals
  • Internalise the feedback received from merchants to improve the products and services provided by our client
  • Be the senior escalation contact for your team’s leads, proactively engage with internal stakeholders to ensure a prompt resolution to operational issues that may arise
