About the role

  • Reporting to Head of Product.
  • You will manage the Solution Engineering function formed by a Team of Solution Engineers.

You will be challenged to

  • Manage a team of solution engineers.
  • Manage strategic bids and support strategic sales in close collaboration with Sales.
  • Review RFP and proposals and ensure quality.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables from solution engineers: RFPs, proposals, demos, scoping, value quantification, integration, and implementation plan.
  • Ensure coordination with Product, Delivery and Technology & Engineering so that what we sell is doable.
  • Structure and industrialize the Solution Engineering approach / process.
  • Build and improve Solution Engineering toolkit for each product.
  • Consolidate feedback / learning from sales engagement (on product, competition, market needs, sales approach).

Which skills you should bring to the table

Essential:

  • Expertise in managing complex B2B sales engagement (RFPs, proposals).
  • Expertise in payment platforms for international merchants, end-to-end (front-end, core functionalities, back-end, integrations).
  • Experience in designing functional and technical solutions and facilitating whiteboarding meetings.
  • Ability to learn by himself any new product, process, environment and customer needs.
  • Strong technical-functional knowledge.
  • Expertise in delivering high-quality customer facing documents (presentations, proposals, RFP response).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in managing customer relationship at all levels.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience in managing cross-functional team.

Preferable:

  • Expertise in payment and digital commerce solutions for specific markets such as Airlines, Travel, Retail, Online Gaming
  • Expertise in planning and managing complex delivery projects.
