A global, multi-national payments business is looking for a Marketing Director to work across their European business to build and execute an online and offline B2B marketing strategy to drive their growth throughout Europe.
As the Director of Marketing, for Europe, you must be a fast learner who can dive into the intricacies of the business, grasp technical and commercial concepts and deeply understand the challenges and opportunities faced.
You will oversee their marketing to SMBs (primarily ecommerce merchants, outsourcing companies and freelancers) across Europe, supporting growth in current focus countries as well as the expansion into additional countries. You will be responsible for partnering with their acquisition and sales teams to generate and nurture leads, with the global CRM team to convert, retain and upsell the longtail, with their customer success and partnership teams to engage customers and partners, and global marketing to develop the brand story across the region.
You must be an inspirational leader who can empower fellow team members to initiate and execute, and be great at working with colleagues from different cultures and time zones.
You will have a proven track record within B2B marketing ideally in an E-Commerce environment and a passion for excellence. You will have experience building brands in Europe be very data driven and willing to roll your sleeves up and execute campaigns yourself.
