Senior Product Owner – Online / eComm Acquiring – Remote – Europe

Our client is a fully licensed eMI that provides digital payment solutions for B2B businesses across Europe.  The business is ambitious and is seeking to continue high-trajectory growth by creating a new product vertical and revenue stream targeting high risk clients.  You will be an experienced Product Manager with experience in e-payments services.  You’ll work collaboratively across the business and share your passion for developing best-in-class, consumer-friendly products to fulfil key development targets, and support the evolution and growth of the business.

Responsibilities:
As a scale-up business, you will need to be a hands-on deliverer as well as manager of work – focussing on product end to end, meaning the typical technical product experience of a Product Owner and, later, the more commercial aspects as a Product Manager.

  • Involvement in all aspects of the product development process including research, design, operational assessment, development, testing and implementation on assigned projects.

  • Actively participate in defining product strategy & drive product innovation.

  • Being the 1POC for suppliers during the Product development phase.

  • Project Management for new Product implementation.

  • Access data, analyze it, generate insights and use it for decision making.

  • Deeply understand the product from all points of view.

  • Analysis, preparation, and prioritization of functionality relating to the product.

  • Coordinate and communicate the decision-making process with all the stakeholders.

  • Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure market needs translate into product value.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Payments product manager / owner.

  • Proven practical experience in online/ecommerce Acquiring is essential. 

  • Product lifecycle exposure covering Market Analysis, Competition, Defining Product Offering to Roadmap and Execution

  • Ability to successfully plan and execute testing strategies for terminals and Acquiring platform in order to ensure the quality of the products.

  • Technical skills and knowledge in Acquiring and terminals business will be considered as an asset.

  • Ability to be creative, think outside the box, challenge status quo and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; required to develop relationships with all members of the team as well as vendors, field partners, clients, and advisors.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a demanding workload to ensure that all deadlines and mandates are met.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Fluent English. Other European languages are advantageous.
